In recent years, requirements with regard to the quality of surfaces have increased constantly. Further, experience has shown that reducing the spray distance and the resulting lower surface performance is not an acceptable option for many users.

This has resulted in the development of the new HVLP Plus technology which closes the gap which had established between HVLP and conventional high pressure technology. This has resulted in an air cap with an internal air cap pressure of approximately 1.3 bar.

Greater application with less material

The innovative HVLPPlus-Nozzle Air Cap System (blue air cap) ensures hight material savings and an excellent surface finish. Measurements by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing, Engineering and Automation, using the EN-Norm 13966-1, produced transfer efficiency of up to 88 %. Therfore, the transfer efficiency is much higher than the 65 % required for HVLP applicatins. The PILOT Premium pays for itself in a very short time.

Contact us and get informations about the HVLP technology by WALTHER PILOT.
