Folding carton volume pre-filter (o.a. Andreae -filter) works on the principle of centrifugal separation, which means that the air stream enriched with color particles is subjected to massive changes of direction in the filter, ejecting the particles from the air stream.
High efficiency, due to the labyrinth effect of the folding carton.
The particles are fixed in the filter - no migration & better separation efficiency
Longer lifetime than filter mats, as the Andreae filter is only clogged when the settling chambers are completely full
